Animal Testing - motherfuckerz
Feb. 20th, 2012 02:29 amSo our wonderful friends at Estee Lauder, Avon, Mary Kay etc - and all their smaller companies (MAC, Clinique, and many others - see list here) - FUCK - are going to put their products to market in China (I'm surprised they haven't already??) and so I cannot support MAC anymore, or Clinique. I have been a MAC customer for a long time. I just wrote them this:
I am appalled to see that your parent company Estee Lauder has resumed animal testing just to put products into China. I have been a MAC customer for years - YEARS, and I have lauded MAC as being an ethical company. I no longer can support your company, however, since finding out about this. It is a travesty, and the country in question should not have been a choice for distribution - even though the same things do not happen here (hopefully), I still cannot support you guys any longer.
I wrote this to Estee Lauder:

I will no longer support any of your companies, namely MAC or Clinique as those are the ones I have used for many years - so unfortunate, I felt a high respect for the ethics of the company, but will not be able to continue.
If ethics were an issue to begin with, then your company should boycott any country that demands animal testing - IF you actually care. Seems as if you don't.
I will probably do the same with other companies listed.
