I don't know for this specific issue because I haven't had to deal with it. My iron levels are within normal range when I had my blood checked this year. You can certainly get enough iron from green leaves so I would say 2 quarts of green smoothies a day with high-iron plants like spinach, parsley, etc. Cacao is high in iron, as are certain nuts, goji berries and mulberries. Lots of plant foods have iron. If you're interested I'd just google some info about it.
